The Mothman is a legend known to many. The first sighting of the
Mothman was reported in Point Pleasant, West Viginia in 1966 by a
broken down TNT Plant. Yet some still to this day have reported
seeing the Mothman. The Mothman is supposedly a man-like creature
that stands six to seven feet tall and has a wing span of ten feet.
What captures the attention of most eye witnesses is the bright red
eyes it also posses. Growing up, my dad was always interested in legends such as the Mothman, but what intrigues me the most about it
is that whenever a sighting of the Mothman has been reported, something destructive has always happened. It is hard to say if I actually do believe in the Mothman, let alone any type of legend, but I would like to say it is quite possible for the Mothman to be true. Many sightings have been reported in different areas of the United States, each giving the exact same description, making it not just a rare occurence. Is it a legend or can it actually be true? This is for you to decide.
